My Name is Eetu Saarela. I am a 18-year-old student currently living in Rovaniemi, Finland. I study software development in Lapland Education Centre REDU. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, playing games, hanging out with my friends and doing my own coding projects.
My goals
My biggest goals in this line of work is to be a part of great projects and make a good and lasting impression on my employers and co-workers. I want to be a valuable part of my team and assist others whenever I can.
My projects
Below are some of my projects, some are personal and some I made for school.
3D-Print archive
On a 2-month long visit to Denmark, My friend and I created a website for a university called Mercantec. The purpose of the website was to act as an archive for 3D-printing related files for students and teachers alike. The students could publicly or privately upload their files onto the website with ease. The users would create accounts, with the teacher’s accounts having more functions such as removing or hiding published files, and being able to disable the students accounts either temporarily or permanently if necessary.
Pokemon web app
This is a pokemon searh web app that you can use to search for different pokemon using the pokemon’s name. after the search you will be shown the pokemon’s name and a picture.
2D Space-Shooter
This is a 2D game, which I made as a project in my first year of studying in the IT field. The project was a kind of “entrance exam”, to determine whether i was good and determined enough to study programming, game- and web develpoment.
Adobe illustrator art
This is some art I made for a school project during my first year studying at REDU.
These are just a couple of my projects, the rest you can find on my github profile, where I display all of my projects.
